First post

I'm making the transition from my MSN site to a real website, with a real blog. This is the first post on my new blog. I might try to get my MSN posts transferred to here, so the last year of my life doesn't become a black hole, (like George Dubya's, having gone AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard).
Anyway, it'll be a few weeks before I get this all up and running properly. Bear with me.
